The goodly portion of Friday was spent unpacking boxes and boxes and boxes! We tossed in a little "furniture reassembly" as well. Our goal was to spend the night in our new home, but we didn't quite make it. The main reason, we dined on Thanksgiving leftovers courtesy of the Jurgens, and were too darned tired to move from there!Setting up my new kitchen is tougher than expected. With so much more cupboard space than before AND a pantry (never had one of those before) it's challenging to determine where to place everything . . . keeping traffic flow and working patterns in mind.
Another real reason we spent the night with Smiley-Guy and his parents -- we have yet to find the coffeepot! Can't get my day started without a little caffeine!
The photo of Glenn and Miles was taken just few days ago. Those two are truly buddies. . .Grandpa can't wait to see him every morning. An added bonus: Grandpa likes changing diapers. It's a bonus for all the rest of us!
On to more boxes and becoming reacquainted with all the 'treasures' we moved -- and of course, those head-scratching moments where I find myself thinking Why in the world did I bring that?!
