BIBS, BABY AND BUILDING!

I simply could not resist adding the photo of Miles in his bib-overalls to the blog/journal! He's growing so fast! He now coos to us, looks into our faces as if he sees us and so on. We're going to miss this little guy during our trip to the midwest -- which begins tomorrow before sun-up!

A short update on the building process. Seamless steel siding of the house began yesterday. Today, the water line was trenched in. Painters continue to prime the walls; colors to be added next week. Both garage doors now installed. All interiors on the closets finished; trim around windows and doors is done. Lots of changes to occur in the next few weeks; although we will really be missing our "Smiley-guy" we will also miss the opportunity to see the work on the house take place.

Today we made two executive decisions as well: we've ordered the central vac unit and given the green light for more gravel for the driveway. Yipes! It's really going to be a house!

Driving to midwest tomorrow with stop in Nebraska. Looking forward to seeing all of our family members back "home" . . . but teary-eyed leaving the grandson!
